A Scout is LOYAL. A Scout is true to her family, friends, Scout leaders, school, nation, and world community.
A Scout is HELPFUL. A Scout is concerned about other people. She willingly volunteers to help others without expecting payment or reward.
A Scout is FRIENDLY. A Scout is a friend to all. She is a sister to other Scouts. She seeks to understand others. She respects those with ideas and customs that are different from her own.
A Scout is COURTEOUS. A Scout is polite to everyone regardless of age or position. She knows that good manners make it easier for people to get along together.
A Scout is KIND. A Scout understands there is strength in being gentle. She treats others as she wants to be treated. She does not harm or kill anything without reason.
A Scout is OBEDIENT. A Scout follows the rules of her family, school, and troop. She obeys the laws of his community and country. If she thinks these rules and laws are unfair, she tries to have them change in an orderly manner rather than disobey them.
A Scout is CHEERFUL. A Scout looks for the bright side of life. The Scout cheerfully does tasks that come her way. She tries to make others happy.

DO A GOOD TURN DAILY. Good Turns are helpful acts of kindness done quietly, without boasting, and without expecting reward or pay. Doing at least one Good Turn every day is a normal part of a Scout's life.
BE PREPARED. A Scout prepares for whatever comes their way by learning all he can. She keeps herself strong, healthy, and ready to meet the challenges of life.

The troop's scout essentials, are often cited as the 10 Essentials.
Each scout shall be responsible for having in their possession the required Scout Essentials at each camp-out or activity of the troop unless advised otherwise by their junior or adult leader.
NO Matches or Fire Starter, unless if told to bring it. (SPL, ASPL or Troop Guide will provide as needed)
Do not bring electric toys, games, radio, ipad or other electronic devices. Cell phones OK, but only for calling at end of camp, any other use will cause phone to be locked up till the end of camp.
